Regulation before rigor. Human potential by design.
A regulation-informed learning framework designed to help neurodivergent students access rigorous learning, build independence, and expand their capacity.
Built at the intersection of Universal Design for Learning, nervous-system regulation, executive functioning, and evidence-informed instructional practice.
01 / A DIFFERENT STARTING POINT
What if the problem isn’t a student’s capacity—but the conditions we’re asking them to learn within?
Traditional learning environments often expect students to regulate, attend, transition, communicate, organize and demonstrate knowledge in predetermined ways. SOL-Led starts somewhere different.
We design the conditions for learning first.
02 / THE SOL-LED FRAMEWORK
Five pillars. One possibility.
01
Regulation Before Rigor
Learning access begins with readiness.
TAP TO EXPLORE
02
Access by Design
Differentiation is built in, not bolted on.
TAP TO EXPLORE
03
Structured Flexibility
Predictability creates safety. Flexibility builds capacity.

04
Skills That Generalize
Learning matters most when it transfers.

05
High Expectations. Whole-Child Growth.
Rigor and support belong together.

03 / FROM IDEA TO PRACTICE
Not another educational philosophy. A framework designed for implementation.
Environment
Design spaces that reduce unnecessary barriers.
Instruction
Create multiple pathways to the same rigorous learning target.
Regulation
Teach regulation proactively rather than responding only after dysregulation.
Executive Function
Explicitly support planning, transitions, initiation and flexibility.
Agency
Build meaningful choice into structured environments.
Generalization
Teach skills to transfer beyond one adult, classroom or setting.

05 / BUILT FOR YOUR COMMUNITY
Better conditions. Greater possibilities.
Educators
Practical tools that translate neuroscience, UDL and regulation-informed practice into everyday instruction.
School Leaders
A framework for building consistency across classrooms, teams and campuses.
Schools & Organizations
Training, implementation support and licensing designed to turn philosophy into practice.
06 / THE FOUNDER
Built by someone who has spent her career asking one question:
What are human beings capable of under the right conditions?
BRITTNEY SCHUESSLER / PORTRAIT FORTHCOMING
Brittney Schuessler is a three-time founder, education and behavioral-health executive, writer, and advocate for human potential.
Her career has spanned education, behavioral health, organizational leadership and entrepreneurship—from direct work with neurodivergent learners to overseeing multi-site educational programs, scaling behavioral-health organizations, and founding therapeutic schools.
SOL-Led Learning grew from years spent observing the same pattern: people are often judged by how they perform inside environments that were never designed for the way they learn, regulate or grow.
Her work asks a different question—not what is wrong with this learner? but what conditions make greater capacity possible?

08 / RESEARCH-INFORMED BY DESIGN
Grounded in what we know about learning.
Universal Design for Learning
Design for learner variability from the beginning.
Nervous-System Regulation
Attend to the conditions that support readiness.
Executive Functioning
Make planning, initiation and flexibility teachable.
Learning & Behavioral Science
Use observation and progress monitoring to guide decisions.
SOL-Led is research-informed, not independently validated as an evidence-based framework. A future Research & Evidence page will share citations and the theory of change.
09 / LEARNING WAS THE BEGINNING
The conditions that shape human capacity don’t disappear when we leave the classroom.
